Dear Parents and Guardians: As we continue to navigate through these remote learning days, Illini Central is committed to continuing to monitor the health and safety of our staff. To assist us in this task, we encourage you to please keep us informed of any positive COVID-19 cases that involve your child. While we respect the privacy of your family, it will help us to track the spread of the virus within our school community. That information will inform our decisions to re-open school as planned on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Please know that any information you share will be kept confidential and shared only with those staff who need to know. We ask that you please share this information with our nursing staff. This is a reminder that Illini Central schools will dismiss at 11:30 am on Friday, October 30,2020. Staff will be involved in school improvement activities during the afternoon. There will be no lunch service on Friday.

Just a reminder that the October meeting of the Illini Central Board of Education will be Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm in the Grade School Library. The public can attend the meeting, though capacity is limited to no more than 50. The Illini Central Lady Cougar Volleyball team will begin their contact days in the high school gym on these dates in October. The 13th, 20th, and 27th from 5:00-6:15 p.m. and the 14th, 21st, and 28th from 3:15-4:30 p.m. The girls will need to come get a waiver from Coach Burks to fill out or from this link https://5il.co/lrgx All players will need to wear a mask as well for each open gym. #WeAreIC

Parents/Guardians of Illini Central Students: Beginning Monday October 19th, 2020 Illini Central will transition from the current hybrid learning schedule to the full in-person instruction schedule. We will begin serving lunches on this date. We will administer prescription medication to those students who require it during school hours. Morning medications will still be required to be administered at home. A signed physician's order that includes your student's name, medication name, dosage and other instructions needed is required. Blank forms can be found on the District website under Medical/Nurse office forms. We ask that anyone dropping off medications please do so at the MS/HS entrance. Completed paperwork can be faxed to 217-482-3323 or e-mailed to tharris@illinicentral.org

Cougar Basketball Fall Contact days will begin on Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6 in Mason City from 3:15 - 4:30. You must fill out the consent form to be able to participate. If you don't have access to a printer, you can pick up a form from Coach Burks on Monday during school. Also, you will need to bring your own mask and water. Locker rooms will not be used. #WeAreIC
