Correction from the last message with an incorrect date...this will take place tomorrow March 14th. The date in the previous post was wrong.

On Monday, a tragic bus accident took place involving staff and students from the Rushville-Industry school district. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims of this horrible tragedy and we want to help. Tomorrow, Thursday March 13th, we will be hosting a Hat Day at Illini Central to raise money for the families of those involved in the accident. Students can donate $1 or more to wear a hat to school that day. All of the proceeds will be given to the families of the victims. Middle School and High School students can make their donations in the gym before school and receive a sticker to show they have made a donation. Grade School teachers will collect the money from their students in the morning. Thank you for your support.

Just a Reminder: Illini Central schools will dismiss Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11:30 am. Teachers will participate in school improvement planning activities in the afternoon. There is no Pre-K on 2/28.

This meeting is for all track athletes and parents, but especially important for 5th graders and those in 6th through 8th grade that haven’t participated in a MS sport this school year. This Friday night, The Illini Central Athletic Boosters will be having their Annual Pork Chop Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Please come out & support the boosters and stick around as the Cougars take on the Athens Warriors! #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

IC schools will dismiss on Wednesday, 1/31/24 at 11:30 am.  A Pre-K activity is planned from 8-10:30 am at the West Campus building for both morning and afternoon students. There is no bus transportation for Pre-K students and parents are welcome to attend. 

Here is the information for tonight's sports: The ICMS boys' basketball game in Mt. Pulaski has been moved to tomorrow night. The ICMS volleyball matches are on as scheduled. 6th grade match begins at 5 p.m. with the 7th & 8th grade to follow. The Cougar Basketball game with Williamsville will be played in The Cougar Den with the JV starting at 6 p.m. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

IC schools will used a delayed start on Tuesday 1/24/24. School will begin at 9:30. Bus routes will run 90 minutes later than normal.

Here are the postponements/cancellations for today: ICMS Boys' IESA Regional Semi-Final game has been moved to tomorrow evening. ICMS volleyball matches have been cancelled.
