Good morning. Due to a driver shortage we are going to have to adjust your routes for this morning. We will split it like we did earlier this year with 5 town kids being picked up by 7 and 5 country kids will ride 11. I apologize for any inconvenieve.
The boys freshman basketball game in Petersburg has been cancelled tonight. The boys freshman games at Illini Central this Saturday (12/7) and next Thursday (12/12) have also been cancelled.
Illini Central CUSD #189 is recognizing the commitment of our substitutes by increasing daily compensation to $110. We are always looking for substitute coverage.

On Veterans Day, all K-12 students will gather at 10:15 in the high school gym to honor those who have served our country. Both veterans and active duty members are invited to attend the assembly and the lunch provided by the FFA immediately following.

Due to the weather, the Annual Halloween Parade will be held in the High School Gym. Parents and Community members need to enter door A, the main High School entrance, between 9:50-10:00 Everyone will be asked to sign in and receive a visitor sticker.
Reminder: IC schools will dismiss school on Thursday, October 31st at 11:15 in order for staff to participate in school improvement activities.
Due to the inclement weather forecast for today, the PTO Trunk or Treat will be moved to the American Legion in Mason City located at 110 West Court Street from 2:00-5:00. Free hot dogs, chips, and candy will be provided. Thank you for your understanding in this matter!
We will dismiss school at 2:00 pm for Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wed. Oct. 23 and Thurs., Oct. 24th. There will be no school on Friday, October 25th.
