Mrs. Durbin and Mr. Kloba are challenging students to spend more time reading books during the school year. The purpose of this program is to promote reading throughout the school year. The challenge is for students to read as many books as possible related to the categories listed. This may seem like a huge challenge, but the benefits include developing better reading skills and establishing reading as a habit that will last a lifetime. Click here for details.
Don't know how to find a book? All ICMS and ICHS students can access digital books online through the Mason City Public Library's website, www.masoncitylibrary.org. Students can also request books from the library to be delivered to school, or they may visit the library during regular library hours outside of the school day. If the scheduled hours do not work with your personal schedule, please contact the library to see if an accommodation can be made.
