Mrs. Giesler's 8th grade English classes gave formal speeches as a part of their independent Holocaust study.
Each student was assigned a topic related to Adolf Hitler, his time as Chancellor, and the Holocaust. First, students wrote a research paper about their topic. To teach their classmates about their topics, students then presented formal speeches with visual aid. Through the speeches, each class learned about the major people, groups, places, and events of the Holocaust.
