Due to tomorrow’s forecast of sleet, ice and heavy snow, Illini Central schools will be closed on Thursday, February 17, 2022. We will determine tomorrow if Thursday’s extracurricular activities and the Board of Education meeting will be canceled. This day will be made up at the end of the school year.

Illini Central Schools will be closed Friday, Feb. 4th due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. Decisions regarding extracurricular activities will be made tomorrow in the morning. Please note that these snow days will be made up at the end of the school year.
The 2022 Senior Class will be taking pre-orders of Krispy Kreme glazed donuts to fund their senior trip and help with graduation expenses.
The fundraiser will begin on Feb. 1st. Please reach out to a senior or see Mrs. Price and Ms. Bohannan for pre-orders.
All order forms and money are due to Mrs. Price by February 10th.
The cost of a dozen donuts will be $11.00. Please write checks to Illini Central (Class of 2022).
Orders will be available for pick up at Senior Night on Feb. 17th in the cafeteria between 6:00 -7:30.
We plan to have a limited number of Krispy Kreme Donuts for $12.00 a dozen or $1.00 each at the game.

Yesterday, some of the ICGS Kindergarten students celebrated the 100th day of the school year by dressing up for the occasion.

On December 31, we we notified by the Illinois State Board of Education that the new CDC/IDPH 5-day COVID guidelines do not apply to school districts. These are guidelines for the general public onlly. As a result, there are no changes to the number of days that a person with COVID or a close contact to a positive COVID individual will be excluded from school.
