Good morning, Illini Central Cougar athletes & families, Illini Central Middle School Cross Country Coach Darcy Toland wanted us to share an informational video on the upcoming fall season. This video can be viewed on The Illini Central Sports Network Facebook page, The Illini Central Sports Network YouTube Channel or The Class's Instagram page. If any student going into 5th-8th grade in the fall would like to participate please email Coach Toland (dtoland@illinicentral.org) with student’s name, parent’s names, cell numbers and email addresses. Please send names of interested students by July 7th. (The video said the 1st, but the Sports Network is late in posting this video.) Practice tentatively to begin on July 31st. Congratulations to Senior Clay Butler & Junior Lucas Power for being named All-Conference for this baseball season. Clay was named to the 2nd team in both the Sangamo & Tomahawk. Lucas was named to the 2nd team for the Tomahawk. Thank you, Clay for your dedication to the IC baseball program since you were a middle schooler! The Illini Central/Greenview Lady Cougars basketball team held their 2nd Annual Basketball Camp on Monday & Tuesday. We had a great turn out & each of the girls worked really hard to get better. We took a serious photo & a silly one...mainly because of course the HS girls wanted to do that one! We hope all of the girls have a great Summer & then in the Fall/Winter...they come out to catch some Lady Cougar Basketball. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

Just a reminder that the IC/Greenview Lady Cougars basketball camp starts tomorrow after school in Mason City. The coaches will still accept walk-ins for $20, but they will not have a t-shirt for those players. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

The ICHS Lady Cougar Track & Field team competes in the IHSA Sectional Meet this afternoon in Mackinaw. The field events begin at 3:30 with the running events to follow around 5:30 p.m. Wishing the girls well this afternoon. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

Lady Raider Softball 🥎 v. Beardstown Lady Tigers 🚨Non-Conference Softball 📍Manito ⏰ 4:30 p.m.

IC schools have lifted the soft lockdown. Pre-K transportation will resume, but may be a few minutes late. All other school activity has resumed as normal.

The morning Pre-K dismisses at 10:30. Bus service will be delayed until the soft lockdown is lifted. We will notify parents via text when this occurs.

Illini Central schools are currently in a soft lockdown. There is not a threat to the school, students or staff. This is at the request of the Mason City Police Department in response to actions they are performing in the community.

This past Saturday...the ICMS Track & Field team competed in the IESA Sectional meet with athletes having a chance to advance to State. Here are our kids who advanced & will travel to State this weekend: 7th grader Laney Anderson who finished 1st in the 400. 7th grader Carter Flairty who finished 1st in discus. 7th graders Carter Flairty, Jackson Shaffer and 6th graders Kyrazz Thompson and Jace Toland who finished with a state qualifying time in the 4x200 relay. Congratulations to Laney, Carter, Jackson, Kyrazz & Jace! We are proud of you.

Due to last night's rainfall...both the Lady Raider Softball game & the Cougar Baseball game scheduled for today have been postponed. The girls will still be having practice after school. We will make-up dates when they become available. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

This afternoon...the Illini Central Middle School Scholastic Bowl team looks to advance to State as they compete in the IESA Sectional in Brimfield. Our kids' afternoon begins at 4:30 with a match v.
