We have a couple of events on the schedule for this last Tuesday in March. The Cougar Baseball team travels to Tomahawk Conference foe...the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers this afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. 1st pitch. The ICMS Track & Field team heads to Midwest Central for their 1st meet of the season. It looks like Mother Nature is going to allow our kids to play sports outside today! The Cougar baseball team hosts the Illini Bluffs Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Raiders softball team travels to Pekin for their game with the Lady Dragons at 4:30 p.m. The ICHS Track & Field team hosts a meet with Greenview & Mt. It appears we are going to play baseball & softball today! The Cougars will be hosting Springfield Lutheran in MC and the Lady Raiders will be welcoming South Fulton to Manito. Both games are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Wishing all of our student athletes well today.

Today...our softball girls were supposed to have their Opening Day game at the Eureka Lady Hornets. The game has been postponed due to the weather. Practice has been cancelled as well. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

Congratulations to our IC/Greenview Lady Cougar Basketball All-Conference honorees this season. Junior Madison Kacevicius was named 2nd team All Tomahwk Conference & Honorable Mention in the Sangamo Conference. Junior Madison Hughes was named Honorable Mention in the Tomahawk Conference. Freshmen Megan Hughes was named Honorable Mention in the Sangamo Conference as well. Great season, Madison, Madison & Meg! We are proud of you! #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

The Cougar Basketball team competes in the Championship game of the 70th Annual Hartem F/S Tournament v. the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals. Tip is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. Hartem uses the NFHS. Last night, the Cougar Basketball team advanced to the championship game of the 70th Annual Hartem F/S Tournament with their win v. Mt. Pulaski, 50-47. Sophomores David Bard & Druin Evans led the way with 23 & 17 respectively. The championship game will be played tomorrow at 12:45 p.m. vs the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy

As we are moving from Winter to Spring sports…I realized that I dropped the ball back in the Fall. I apologize for my mistake. Sophomore Taylor Keihn was named Honorable Mention in the Tomahawk Conference for volleyball. You couldn’t ask for a better athlete, student, teammate or kid. Congratulations, Taylor.
