Tonight, the Illini Central/Greenview Lady Cougars travel to Riverton for their Sangamo Conference game with the Lady Hawks. The Illini Central Athletic Boosters will host a dinner on the evening of Friday, February 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the IC vs. Auburn boys' basketball game in the Illini Central Cafeteria. The meal will include: Pork chop sandwich, chips and a bottle of water. Another big sports Saturday for Illini Central! The Lady Cougars travel to Monticello for their game with the Pontiac Lady Indians in the Sangamo v. Tonight, Illini Central will recognize their 8th grader boys' basketball players & cheerleaders prior to the 8th Grade Night game v. the Greenview Bulldogs. The 8th grade cheerleaders are: Front Row: Milee DeVore, Morgan Peterson, Elayna Snyder & Bennett Bergman Second Row: Jauni Deters, Hope Thomas, Addi Lemme & Claire Parsley The 8th grade boys' basketball players are Caleb Stender, Brady McLaughlin, Jackson Reagan, Kadin Lemme, Will Durbin & Ephraim Newton. The 7th grade game will tip at 6 p.m. with the recognition of the 8th graders to follow. The Cougars defeated Mt. Pulaski last night to stay undefeated in the Tomahawk Conference, 60-43. Illini Central was led by Trenton Dietrich's 32. The boys are off until Saturday night when they host Clinton. #WeAreIC #BeJimmy
