Nicholas Huckabee, senior, is the son of Steve and Debbie Huckabee of Mason City. Nick has played basketball for all four years at Illini Central and will serve as a co-captain this season.
His favorite sports memory is going out to eat with his teammates after games. In school his favorite class/subject is anything taught by Mr. Allen.
Nick says that sports are important to him because it allows him to be a part of a team. His favorite hobby is playing basketball or hanging out with his friends.
Outside of sports, Nick enjoys the move Tag, and his favorite foods include Mac n cheese or chicken. His favorite quote comes from Paul Brandt and it says, “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”
After graduation Nick plans to go to a community college for two years before moving on to a university. We would like to thank Nick for his hard work while at ICHS and wish him well in the future.
