Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boys Track team for winning the state track meet this past weekend held in East Peoria. IC scored 28 points to nudge out Illini Bluffs 25 points. Special congratulations to double state champion Emilio Rivera who finished 1st in both the 800 and 1600 and to the relay comprised of Shane Doyle, Keynan Van Meter, Lane Dowell, and Emilio Rivera who finished 2nd. Also placing for Illini Central were 8th graders Riley Entwisle, 2nd in the shot put, Wyatt Hilst, 6th in the 100 and 8th in the 200, and Madi Damm, 4th in the shot put. 2013 HS yearbooks will go on sale again in the school next week. If students do not order and pay for a yearbook by May 17th, they will not be able to order one at all. The school will not be getting any extra books for purchase in August when they come in. Yearbooks are $50 each and can be purchased before and after school, as well as during lunch time.
